There was still some mystique around Brock Lesnar and his apparent retirement at this year’s WrestleMania. But it’s gone. He’s now moved to the alumni section of WWE Superstars on the company’s official website, as one could see below. WWE usually does it to anyone who’s no longer under a contractual obligation with it.
‘The Beast’ suffered a humiliating loss to Oba Femi at this year’s WrestleMania, which ought to be his last wrestling match given he is now listed as a WWE alumnus. It was reported in the fallout from Mania that Lesnar handpicked Femi to work a program with, leading to their WrestleMania showdown.

Lesnar didn’t once get to obliterate Femi during the build-up of his feud with ‘The Ruler’, which many believe was The Beast’s call to put Femi over in a major way. Moreover, even during their match at WrestleMania, regardless of it lasting under five minutes, Lesnar made Femi look like a million bucks.
It was undoubtedly the most critically acclaimed WWE feud Lesnar was a part of in a very long time. The fans could sense how deeply invested he was in it, citing his five consecutive Raw appearances through March and April as a key indicator of that sentiment. There were reports saying that people in WWE did expect the 10-time world champion to hang up his boots this year, but at SummerSlam, with it being held in his home state of Minnesota and not at WrestleMania itself.
The Conqueror’s longtime manager Paul Heyman was reduced to tears when Lesnar left his wrestling gloves and boots in the middle of the ring at WrestleMania. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion threw up the X-sign at Heyman, which was Lesnar implying that it wasn’t a work or a scripted act.
The two of them then shared a warm embrace amid thunderous applause from the Las Vegas crowd. WWE ran a special video package on Raw after WrestleMania to acknowledge the legendary career of the 48-year-old, who was once famously hailed as the alpha male of our species by Pat McAfee during his call on commentary.
Paul Heyman confirms that Brock Lesnar has indeed retired from WWE
While the wrestling fans are still unable to digest that Brock Lesnar has called it a career, his advocate Paul Heyman has now said on record that Lesnar is indeed retired. ‘The Oracle’ was asked by TMZ‘s Harvey Levin if he knew Lesnar was going to retire at WrestleMania 42.

Heyman denied it and said if it were the case, he wouldn’t have gone on record to dismiss the Brock Lesnar retirement rumors before WrestleMania and assert that he’ll be around for the next 15 years. The reporter also asked Heyman if he faked his tears while hugging Lesnar and walking up the ramp thereafter.

The WWE Hall of Famer shot it down while asking if he came across that good of an actor that he could cry on cue. He also declined to share his personal conversation with ‘The Beast’ telling the TMZ reporter that it was none of her business.
After clearing the air around Brock Lesnar’s WWE retirement, Heyman shifted his focus to the faction he’s currently managing on Raw—The Vision. Heyman called Bron Breakker, Logan Paul, Bronson Reed, and Austin Theory the future of WWE to end his chat.
