Brock Lesnar has to walk the talk this weekend at Clash in Italy against his kryptonite, Oba Femi. The latter took Lesnar to the cleaners in their WrestleMania match. It prompted the former UFC ace to leave his boots and gloves in the ring as if he were retiring. However, in hindsight, it was a ruse.

‘The Beast’ shockingly ambushed ‘The Ruler’ a couple of weeks ago and clobbered him with four F-5s to set up a rematch with Femi. Regardless of the outcome, Lesnar is expected to appear in WWE again after this Sunday’s premium live event in Turin. It was noted on WrestleVotes Radio via Fightful Select.

The outlet also said that, as of now, Lesnar isn’t scheduled for Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden on July 18. That could obviously change if WWE feels the need to have ‘The Beast’ involved at an SNME taping, especially one emanating from the world’s most famous arena.

The fact that Lesnar is likely to maintain his presence in WWE post-Clash in Italy pretty much confirms his availability for SummerSlam. The Biggest Party of the Summer will be held in Brock Lesnar‘s adopted hometown of Minneapolis this year. While some initially thought that it’d be the ideal place for him to have his true farewell in WWE, possibly in a career-threatening showdown against Gunther, the fans are now leaning toward a third match between Lesnar and Femi.

‘The One in 21-1’ hasn’t looked this motivated for a WWE feud in years as he has with ‘The Bringer of War’ since the moment they met for the very first time in the 2026 Men’s Royal Rumble match. In fact, it was previously noted that Lesnar had handpicked Femi as his WrestleMania opponent.

Moreover, he was originally set to have a longer feud with the Nigerian wrestler. It’s now coming to the fore with these behemoths set for match number two of their heated rivalry. The result of their collision at Clash in Italy will determine the course of their feud moving forward.

Peter Rosenberg most looking forward to Brock Lesnar vs. Oba Femi at Clash in Italy

Clash in Italy this weekend has two big-time world title matches as well in the form of Roman Reigns vs. Jacob Fatu for the World Heavyweight title in a Tribal Combat and Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther for the Undisputed WWE title. But for Peter Rosenberg, who works for the Stamford-based promotion as a correspondent, he’s most excited for Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar, part 2.

Appearing on ESPN‘s First Take, Rosenberg said he actually believed that Lesnar was done from WWE when he had that tearful moment with Paul Heyman at WrestleMania. ‘The Wiseman’ had later told a TMZ reporter that even he didn’t know that his client was going to retire the way he did. The very next Monday on Raw, Lesnar sneak-attacked ‘The Ruler’ to make his intentions perfectly clear.

Stephen A. Smith then asked Rosenberg what made Lesnar come out of retirement after essentially reducing Heyman to tears. The WWE correspondent cited something that his podcast co-host had mentioned the other day about why everyone was taking Heyman’s tears out of everyone seriously.

The Cheap Heat host explained how Brock Lesnar hasn’t always been appreciated by the fans for being real and raw his entire career. And that’s why the people thought that was actually it for Lesnar when he got emotional after losing to Femi at WrestleMania. However, Rosenberg added that ‘The Conqueror’ seemingly didn’t want to go out looking up at the lights.
