CJ Stroud grew up watching his mother help others in need, so when he saw that his adopted city of Houston was facing a natural disaster, he packed his bags from the Texans facility and dropped by to lend a hand with the clearing of the local hood. After tidying up the surrounding areas, he indulged in a game of catch with one of the natives.
Stroud was very helpful in cutting down trees that fell after the destructive storm that passed over Houston. The Pro Bowl quarterback set up a charitable foundation last season to help those in need.

A local Houston radio show producer, Ashlee, shared a photo of CJ Stroud along with popular YouTuber and DJ Mr. Rogers helping out with the cleaning.
After the heavy lifting was taken care of, Stroud gathered around a couple of teens and a football. He started playing catch with them on the sidewalk. Fortunately for the Houston Texans, Stroud’s a quarterback and not a receiver because he dropped a couple, per Click2Houston.com.

CJ Stroud witnesses the return of Tank Dell
While Stroud was helping out in Houston, at the back of his mind he had to be thinking about teammate Tank Dell. The fiery young receiver was injured after he found himself in the middle of a gun battle in Miami.
Dell was taken to a local hospital, and the good news for Stroud is that he appears to have made a quick recovery. According to Texans owner Cal McNair, the 24-year-old looked energized when he visited the facility.
It looks like Tank will make a full recovery. We saw him in the office the other day, and he looked good, in good spirits.Cal McNair said
However, they will further evaluate his condition and prescribe rehab accordingly. He even shared a video on social media updating his progress.

Dell was instrumental for Stroud, as both rookies took the NFL by storm until the local Houston boy picked up a season-ending injury. Before that, he recorded 47 passes for 709 yards and seven touchdowns in 11 games.
Stroud, on the other hand, set several new rookie records, including most games without an interception. The Ohio State alumni posted 319 completions for 4108 with a league-best of 273.6 yards per game, throwing 23 touchdowns and only 5 interceptions in the regular season. In the post-season, he had 35 completions for 449 yards and 3 touchdowns, taking the Texans to the divisional playoff round.
