The recent turn of events has put sizable attention on Khabib Nurmagomedov. Where attention goes, so does Conor McGregor. He recently restarted his rivalry with Nurmagomedov after the recent unfortunate events in Dagestan. The ‘Notorious’ isn’t holding back anything.

Some years back, Conor McGregor had alleged that Ali Abdelaziz, Nurmagiomedov’s manager, was a terrorist turned snitch. He recently lobbed a new accusation, claiming that Nurmagomedov’s gym held drug testers hostage. The Irishman’s tweet storm came after Russian forces raided Nurmagomedov’s gym. McGregor seized this moment to take a jab at his fierce rival.

The Russian forces were investigating possible links to recent terror attacks in Dagestan. However, McGregor’s tweet stirred up a new controversy about drug testing. These are serious accusations. If true, they could have major implications. But for now, they’re just claims from a rival fighter. McGregor is known to make up wild claims, not just about Nurmagomedov, but other fighters as well.

As the dust settles, one thing’s clear. The McGregor-Khabib rivalry is far from over. This latest drama adds another chapter to their storied rivalry. There is little possibility of anyone investigating this matter, given that Khabib Nurmagomedov is now retired. The alleged drug testing drama must have happened during the time of USADA. They have also not responded to McGregor’s accusation.

Conor McGregor issues a dark statement aimed at Khabib Nurmagomedov

The Irish fighter Conor McGregor has launched a verbal assault on his old rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov. It’s been six years since their infamous bout, but the bad blood still boils. McGregor’s latest outburst came after Russian authorities raided Nurmagomedov’s gym in Dagestan.

The ‘Notorious’ didn’t pull any punches in his social media tirade. The Irishman revisited their 2018 fight, claiming he fought with a broken foot. ‘The Notorious’ revealed that he should have postponed the fight against Nurmagomedov back then as he did with the UFC 303 main event. The profanity-laced tweet also mentioned the incident on the bus when McGregor launched a dolly at the bus, injuring several fighters.

Conor McGregor stated that Khabib Nurmagomedov was too scared to come out of the bus and take him on. The final part of the statement revealed a dark part of their rivalry. McGregor openly admitted to rejoicing when Nurmagomedov passed away. This is a dark twist in their already heated rivalry and an indication that the heat will never go away.
