Former Indian Skipper MS Dhoni buys new home in Pune

MS Dhoni has recently purchased a new house in Pune. The house is located in Pimpri-Chinchwad. Currently Dhoni, wife Sakshi and their daughter Ziva have been residing in their lavish house in Ranchi. The former Indian skipper has also been constructing a house in Mumbai. We have seen Dhoni as a finisher on field and a father in the videos posted in social media after Ziva was born in 6th February, 2015.

The other facet of Dhoni who has a great liking towards animals are also periodically seen through the posts made by Sakshi in Social Media. Recently he was seen playing with his horse Chetak, in an Instagram video shared by his wife.

Dhoni was last seen in field during the IPL 2021 where he leads the Chennai Super Kings Franchise. The CSK skipper did not have a bright form with his bat but excelled as a captain for CSK leading them to the second spot by the time IPL 2021 was postponed by BCCI amidst the second wave of COVID-19 in India and many players from different franchise camps tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The remainder of IPL is scheduled to take place in UAE from September 19, 2021.

MS Dhoni has represented India in 90 Tests, 350 ODIs, and 98 T20Is. While he scored 4876 runs in the test format, he also amassed 10773 runs in ODI cricket at an average of 50.58 despite playing at no.6 position. In T20I cricket, he has 1617 runs to his name at an average of 37.60. It is noteworthy to state that he has also lead India to win the 2007 T20 World Cup title, the 2011 fifty-over World Cup title as well as the 2013 Champions Trophy title.

The Indian cricket legend retired from all formats of International cricket on August 15, 2020 announcing his retirement via Instagram post. The 39 year old was last seen sporting the Blue jersey in 10th July,2019 in World Cup semi-final against Newzealand, which resulted in a heartbreaking exit for India with MS Dhoni departing the field scoring 50 of 72 balls.
