Harmanpreet Kaur and Mithali Raj who is the ODI and Test captain haven’t always been in the best of terms, according to various reports. The controversy surrounding Mithali Raj and head coach Ramesh Powar allegedly involved Harmanpreet as well. It all took place when Mithali was dropped from the playing XI for the semi-final of the T20 World Cup in 2018. This led to a huge furore with plenty of words exchanged between both parties.

Today, on her Instagram handle, Harmanpreet was asked to describe Mithali in one word and the reply was ‘experienced’. She was also asked to describe various other players. She called Rohit Sharma ‘gifted’ and Virat Kohli ‘energy’. MS Dhoni was termed a ‘legend’ and her best mates outside India, according to her, are Alexandra Hartley and Kate Cross from England.
