India batting stalwart Virat Kohli and youngster Shubman Gill share an amazing bond. Time and again the two have been caught doing weird things both on and off the field. Kohli and Gill were involved in another weird on-field act while fielding during Australia’s second innings in the WTC Final. As the two batters were standing in the slip cordon, Kohli threatened to hit Gill on his ba***.

The incident took place on Day 4. As Australia resumed their second innings, Kohli and Gill were standing in the slips. The 34-year-old then on his way back to the original position threatened Gill to hit him in his crotch area.

The youngster, meanwhile, probably sensed it before and saved himself by putting his hands in the line. Gill also covered up the whole act with a weird dance step.

While Virat and Gill are enjoying their time out in the middle, the two batters will have a big responsibility when India bat in the fourth innings. Both batters failed to live up to the expectations in India’s first inning. While Gill was dismissed for only 13, Kohli too, fell cheaply, after scoring 14. Now, as India stare at a fourth-inning target of more than 400 runs, both Kohli and Gill will have to up their game. It will be interesting to see if India rewrite the history at The Oval.
