Cameraman loves showing the “many moods of Kaviya Maran”, as termed by the social media fans, when her team does well and when it doesn’t. Kaviya doesn’t shy away from showing her expressions. However, it seemed she has had enough of constantly being under the focus of the camera.

During the match between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Sunday (April 9) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, Kaviya seemed to have shouted at the camera to go away. Although what exactly she said is not known, she looked irritated and seemed to have mouthed the Hindi phrase “Hatt yaar! (Go away!)” or “Hatt re!” to the camera. This win over Punjab Kings ended SRH’s winless streak. The Orange Army started the season with a demoralizing 72-run defeat from Rajasthan Royals, followed by a five-wicket loss from Lucknow Super Giants. However, they easily hammered PBKS in their third match to win it by eight wickets (with 17 balls left).

After winning the toss, SRH chose to bowl first, and with Mayank Markande’s four-wicket haul, they restricted PBKS to 143/9 in 20 overs. Captain Shikhar Dhawan played like a lone warrior, scoring an unbeaten 99 runs from 66 balls.

But Dhawan’s heroic effort went in vain because SRH, with Rahul Tripathi’s unbeaten 74 runs from 48 balls, followed by captain Aiden Markram’s unbeaten 37 off 21, helped the Orange Army easily chase down the target to win the match by eight wickets.

After the match, SRH head coach Brian Lara lauded Dhawan. “I must commend Shikhar Dhawan. I think it is one of the best innings I’ve ever seen in T20 Cricket,” Lara told the IPL broadcasters. “The way he shepherd the strike and totally just controlled the game,” added Lara.
