Die-hard Cristiano Ronaldo fan and famous YouTuber IShowspeed was spotted in the stands during the World Test Championship (WTC) Final match at The Oval in England. As India batted in their first innings, Darren Watkins Jr. aka Speed was spotted wearing India’s jersey with Virat Kohli’s name imprinted on the back. Notably, the YouTuber is also said to be a Virat Kohli fan. 

Although Australia dominated the proceedings on Day 1 and in the early phase of Day 2, India were never short on support. The fans kept cheering for the Rohit Sharma-led team.

Meanwhile, IShowspeed was also spotted cheering for India from the stands. While the American YouTuber was earlier spotted in a white sweatshirt, he changed to India’s jersey as Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill came out to bat.

Poor start for India in WTC Final

Now talking about the match, batting first, Australia posted a massive 469/10 in their first innings. Travis Head (163) and Steve Smith (121) scored centuries while Alex Carey (48) and David Warner (43) also chipped in. Mohammed Siraj was the leading wicket-taker for India with his (4/108).

Meanwhile, India’s opening pair of Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill failed to give a solid start as India lost two early wickets. While captain Sharma fell for 15 (26), Gill was dismissed for 13. Sharma was trapped LBW by Pat Cummins while Gill was cleaned up by Scott Boland as the batter failed to judge the height on a length ball.
