The Buffalo Bills’ star safety Damar Hamlin has blocked the former wide receiver, Antonio Brown. Even though it’s a piece of breaking news, it can’t be called surprising.
Just a couple of weeks ago, Hamlin found himself in a beef with Brown over an X post, where the former Pittsburgh Steelers receiver bizarrely responded to a fan’s question asking about a “fictional character death he never got over,” with Hamlin’s name. It appears Brown was taking a dig at Hamlin after he collapsed right in the middle of the football field due to cardiac arrest.
Although Hamlin knew there was no point in responding, he still did as he found Brown’s attack quite personal. Given, the cardiac arrest nearly took the safety’s life and remained in the hospital for days in critical condition.
Hamlin called him out on X.
I pray God don’t ever let me turn into a burnt out old head like you.Damar Hamlin on X
As expected, Brown fired back leading to the safety finally blocking him for his nasty behavior.
Prior to blocking him, Hamlin also shared a follow-up post directed to former Bucs receiver.
You was supposed to be an example setter. Now you the biggest weirdo we know! Get off twitter & go do some work with some kids or something.Damar Hamlin mentioned
Joe Biden and Tom Brady in the crosshairs
It appears Hamlin got the idea of blocking AB from two prominent public figures, NFL legend Tom Brady and U.S. President Joe Biden. Around a month ago, Brown shared a post on X with screenshots with alerts, which read, “@JoeBiden blocked you.” and “@TomBrady blocked you.”
Hamlin isn’t the only one targeted by the NFL star-turned-Twitter-troll. Previously, he had attacked President Biden with a bunch of unflattering images of him getting too close and touchy with women and girls, interacting with him, and captioned it, “C*acker of the Day.”
Same with Brady, although it dates back to his days playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In his final NFL game, he exited from the football field while taking off his shirt– which Brown had later referred to as a bizarre exit. In addition to that, AB recently took a massive dig at Brady and his ex-wife, Gisele Bundchen after her new relationship became public.
