“Disgraceful” Stephen A. Smith speaks on the Nets bringing Kyrie Irving for the upcoming road games

The absence of Nets star Kyrie Irving has already impacted the team in many forms. Because of the ongoing regulations following the Covid-19 in the NBA, Kyrie has been out of the game since the very beginning and was determined to be out over half of the team games.

Nets have been impressive this season holding their other star player Kevin Durant to be competing for the MVPs. But after Kevin went for the quarantine the second time in the league regarding Covid-19 precautions the team went to make some of the not-so-good losses this season.

The Brooklyn Nets recently announced that they might let Kyrie Irving play in the upcoming road games despite the fact that he is not eligible to play the home games due to the New York City vaccine mandate.

It was on Tuesday’s episode of ESPN’s First Take when Stephen A. was asked about what he thinks of the Nets bringing Kyrie Irving back to the team for the upcoming road games. In response to the same Stephen A. shared some strong words for the All-Star guard, he explained that Kyrie has betrayed Kevin Durant by being irresponsible and not giving his best to be back on the court.

Stephen believes that Kyrie Irving has proved that he can’t be trusted by the fans or his teammates and should be cut off from the team.

“Kyrie Irving betrayed you! Flat out betrayed you. Left you hanging,” Stephen A. said. “And while you’re sitting up there… they were cheering for Steph Curry in Brooklyn (last night)… You got Kyrie Irving who is a showstopper – a superstar talent… and can’t be trusted. I actually hope Kyrie Irving gets cut…”

On the other hand, while running for the MVP, Kevin Durant has been performing outstandingly as he is averaging 29 points per game taking his team to be at 10-5 this season. As per the situation is going it is pretty much sure that the Nets might go the full season without Kyrie Irving stepping on the court.
