Apart from being the fastest player in the league, there’s one more thing that the Miami Dolphins wide receiver is famous for his love for pranking strangers.
Oftentimes, he pulls off a disguised look given his popularity, but sometimes non-footballers have trouble placing his famous face.
The latter happened to Tyreek Hill recently, as he stopped by a gas station for his McLaren. A guy who doesn’t appear to be a fan of American football but is a car lover complimented the NFL ‘Cheetah’ for his luxurious car. He then asked Hill what he does for a living to afford such a luxurious car.
Hill took this chance to have a little fun
I’m a plumber bro.Tyreek Hill replied
But of course, the bystander didn’t buy his response. A McLaren worth starts at $310,500 and goes up to $336,000. So he inquired whether Hill owns a plumping company instead, but the star wideout dismissed that, saying his father does.
Filled with curiosity, the guy asked if the 30-year-old got the car on rental or if his father gave it to him. But Hill still didn’t reveal his real identity; instead, he continued the plumber story further, adding a plot that he has been a plumper for the past 15 years, and that’s how he got the car.
As the video of this conversation surfaced on the internet, it went viral, with the Dolphins fans taking a muse out of it and laughing as Hill succeeded in pranking another stranger.
The Dolphins star receiver’s high-end car roster
Speaking of owning expensive cars, the Dolphins’ star receiver has a penchant for cars and has an amazing collection of phenomenal high-end vehicles.
The highest-paid wide receiver in the league owns a Mercedes-Benz G350, a Chevrolet C8 Corvette Stingray, a Ford Galaxie coupe, a Mercedes-Benz 550 G Wagon, a Dodge Caravan, and a Cadillac Escalade. Top on the list is, of course, the McLaren 720, which Hill bought shortly after moving to Miami.
The reason why McLaren wears the crown in Hill’s car collection is that it’s the fastest among them, with an acceleration of 0 to 60 mph in a mere 2.8 seconds. If there’s a car well suited to Hill’s reputation of being the fastest, it’s the McLaren 720.
