As it should be, Drew McIntyre is at the epicenter of the updated poster for WWE Clash at the Castle this year. Slated to emanate from the OVO Hydro in Scotland on June 15, the PLE marks the homecoming of the Scottish Warrior. And Drew has something to say, as he always does. Taking it to X, the 38-year-old wrote, “If McIntyre loses we riot.”

Glasgow better brace themselves and be ready with those signboards, as their hometown boy is in for a big one that night. As per a recent update from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Drew McIntyre is reportedly set to challenge Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Championship at Clash at the Castle. The two verbally jousted on Raw last week, with the Judgment Day member getting the better of the Scot.

Priest said that McIntyre gave CM Punk more importance than his wife at WrestleMania XL. And that’s why he couldn’t leave the stadium with gold around his waist. The Archer of Infamy seized his moment and didn’t defer making hay while the sun was shining at The Show of Shows. Despite severe trolling on social media for being one of the most idiosyncratic Money in the Bank contract holders, Damian made everyone eat their own words.

So there’s enough history between McIntyre and Priest. One would imagine whether WWE CCO Triple H is going to make the Puerto Rican wrestler drop the world title that soon. However, the fans might be up in arms if The Chosen One ends up losing in front of his own crowd yet again. Back in 2022, the latter suffered the same wrath at the hands of Roman Reigns.

CM Punk could be Drew McIntyre’s doomsday in Scotland

The self-proclaimed DM Hunk might be confident enough that he’d wrestle away that World Heavyweight title from Damian Priest sooner than later, but there’s one man who can crash the party for Drew. And yes, it’s the Chicagoan, CM Punk.

If one could remember, a few weeks ago, the latter cut a resounding promo on McIntyre. Punk just barely missed catching Drew, as the latter had stormed out of the arena seconds before The Best in the World arrived on the scene.

The 45-year-old went to the ring and vowed to break Drew’s face. And if that leads him all the way to Scotland, then so be it, said Punk. Now what if he’s the one to cost The Scottish Psychopath yet again, but this time around, in McIntyre’s own backyard at Clash at the Castle?
