Drew McIntyre finally completed his dream of winning the world title in front of a jam-packed crowd at WrestleMania. However, it wasn’t meant to be, as Damian Priest cashed in his MITB contract to become the champion. The Scottish Warrior only held one person responsible for it, and that was CM Punk. 

The 38-year-old star took to Instagram and shared a video of his title victory, in which he was celebrating with his wife. However, he got surprisingly attacked by an ‘injured’ Punk, and Damian Priest took advantage of the opportunity to cash in his MITB contract and defeated McIntyre. He recalled the moment and stated that he would never forgive The Second City Saint for shattering his dreams.

Prior to WrestleMania, Drew McIntyre was constantly mocking CM Punk for his injury on social media. Moreover, he took pride in snatching the 45-year-old’s WrestleMania moment. However, Punk returned the favor and ruined his WrestleMania moment. The Best in the World didn’t stop there, as he also cost McIntyre another chance to become the No. 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Many fans have criticized Drew McIntyre for his cockiness in sticking around and mocking CM Punk after his title victory at WrestleMania. In fact, one female fan couldn’t control her emotions and gave an outrageous reaction to his carelessness. Now, McIntyre has finally reacted to the video and had a few words to say about it.

McIntyre took to X and praised her passion for the business. He even said that she should come with him to his next fight camp to motivate him. Despite being a heel, the crowd was behind him as he finally completed his dream. However, it ultimately counted as another failure as the celebrations were short-lived.

McIntyre’s recent history with title matches has not been good, as he first lost to Bobby Lashley at WrestleMania 37. After that, he failed to capture the Undisputed title against Roman Reigns at Clash at the Castle two years ago and also suffered multiple losses against Seth Rollins. Only time will tell whether McIntyre will be able to gain another chance at the World Heavyweight Title or not.
