Everyone is waiting eagerly for the new CS2 to be released. The game has ruffled some feathers in the gaming community as to what it will be like. Even so, what the actual game is going to be has already been teased on the official website. For those who are wondering, CS 2 comes from a very rich lineage of series of the Counter Strike. It has been always the talk of town. Simple yet elegant game mechanics has been a core foundation for the game in all it’s years of existence.

The game doesn’t feature any flashy moves , no collaboration, no in game skills. It’s a pure form of First person Shooter game that has defied the non conventional form of gaming that keeps getting better. That is the soul and breath of Counter Strike series.

So what does CS 2 have in store for the players? For few years now , CS:GO is on roll without a doubt with competing games like Valorant and other PVP games. And high time for the CS 2 to carry the reins ahead.

Upgraded maps

Counter strike 2 has made changes to maps and made more light oriented glow. The maps are still the original ones with new touch ups and better visual effects.

  1. Touch stone maps : Just the original maps made for better graphic and transitioning from CS:GO to CS2. Everything stays the same with classic maps.
  2. Upgrades: These maps are refurbished to simulate an environment with reality as light and reflections will work wonder in it. Upgrade features real time realistic places and material in the surroundings.
  3. Overhaul: These are technically meant for community developers to make changes and add structures in the map of oldest CS games in a new light. here you can build , experiment and make changes that will add to complexity of game making it more engaging for players to play.

CS 2 Smokes

Smokes are going to be the game changer in CS2. Because the smoke will simply follow the rules of physics this time. Shoot a bullet through it , with enough bullets you can clear out the smoke. This is going to change how players will use it to their advantage and build their strategy around it. Smokes will be treated as volumetric 3d object by the game engine. For those who’ve always relied on tactical gameplay would now need to evolve with new gameplay mechanics.

Loadout and profiles

CS has some good news for the already existing players. You no longer have to render a new profile to play this game. The ID of CS:GO is all you need to interact with the new CS2. Valve has allowed and made the game transfer a effortless process and this is one less hassle players need to do. With that said the Loadout of previous account will all be transferred from existing account to CS2 server. All the items , packages, skins will be displayed in better graphics for CS2.
