The Barbarian is a classic Diablo class known for their heavy weapons, crowd-control immunity, and brute strength. In Diablo 4, the Barbarian’s unique feature is the Arsenal system, allowing them to swap between different weapons depending on the skill used. They can wield a variety of weapons, from one-handed to two-handed, blades to maces. Their gameplay focuses on physical damage and defense rather than complex strategies. With Are of effect attacks and ability-enhancing war cries, the Barbarian is perfect for aggressive players. They will be at the forefront of the fight against Lilith, using their strength to overcome hordes of enemies and defend Sanctuary.

The Sorceress is a delicate but powerful class in Diablo 4, focusing on strong elemental magic with a high risk-high reward playstyle. Their spells revolve around Lightning, Fire, and Cold. Lightning spells leave behind a ball of energy on the battlefield that can restore Mana when collected, while Cold spells can stack on enemies, freezing them after repeated hits. Fire spells deal damage over time. The Sorceress must be careful in combat, as their lack of physical defense leaves them vulnerable. However, they can dish out massive damage from a safe distance with their powerful spells. With their elemental magic, the Sorceress will play a crucial role in the fight against Lilith.

Sorceress Attacks:

  • Lightning
  • Fire Bolt
  • Frost Bolt
  • Arc Lash

Druid

The Druid, a classic Diablo class, returns in Diablo 4 with the ability to switch between human, Werebear, and Werewolf forms. With control over storm and earth magic, the Druid can cast skills that persist on the battlefield. Skills are locked to individual forms, preventing players from freely casting spells in any form as they could in Diablo 2. The hybrid Druid class can cast spells and transform into beasts to take down enemies. They also have animal companions and access to powerful Earth magic. With the ability to transform into different animals and use magic, the Druid is a versatile and exciting class to play in Diablo 4.

  • Shred
  • Storm Strike

The Necromancer is a highly anticipated class in Diablo 4. Players are drawn to its unique Scythe weapon and ability to raise the dead to fight for them. The Necromancer has four distinct playstyles to choose from: Bone, Darkness, Blood, and Army. These styles offer different ways to utilize resources like Essence, gained through basic skills, and corpses of defeated enemies. The Necromancer can wield a variety of weapons, including class-specific items, shields, daggers, wands, swords, and focuses.

  • Corpse Explosion
  • Bone Spear
  • Blight

The Rogue class in Diablo 4 is a versatile fighter who uses various weapons like bows, crossbows, swords, and daggers in combat. They can alternate between these weapons, giving them a wide range of options to choose from. Combining aspects of past classes like the Amazon, Assassin, and Demon Hunter, the Rogue can rotate through a skillset that uses both ranged and melee weapons. They also possess high mobility, allowing them to reposition during battles. Players can customize their experience by selecting one of three paths based on the quest path taken: Exploit Weakness, Combo Points, and Shadow Realm.

Rogue Attacks:

  • Forceful Arrow
  • Flurry
  • Death Trap

As the release of the full Diablo 4 game nears its release players are hyped about what new class they will get to try. If the developers continue previous traditions of the past, then players may see a fan favorite Paladin return. Fans can get a better idea when it releases on June 6th later this year.
