Is iShowSpeed moving to Kick following his recent YouTube strike?

The trendy YouTuber known for his absurd reactions and tons of viral memes, iShowSpeed, recently received a strike from Google’s video sharing platform, YouTube. Following the strike, he has been urged by a big name in the industry to join Kick, another up and coming livestreaming platform.

The person to recommend joining Kick to Speed is none other than the one and only, Bottom G Adin Ross who himself recently moved from Amazon-owned Twitch to the very same platform he was urging Speed to join in a recent tweet reply to Speed’s original tweet about his strike.

In a rather non-descriptive and self-explanatory tweet, iShowSpeed attached a picture of his recent stream getting a strike from YouTube on the grounds of his content containing “spam, deceptive practices and scams“. He simply wrote “no way” as the contents of the tweet.

In response to the above tweet, Adin Ross, famous ex-Twitch streamer known for picking up beef with followers of Andrew Tate himself, urged iShowSpeed to join Kick and leave Google’s platform. He did so on the grounds that they “treat u like a peasant” and that Speed deserved equity and a multi-million dollar deal which he could get at Kick.

The response that Ross triggered has also made people wonder if he himself owned stake at Kick as he spoke so openly about the deal that Speed himself could receive. The confidence he tweeted with makes a strong case for the same.

Will iShowSpeed join Kick?

In case you still don’t know what Kick is, it is a new up and coming video livestreaming platform which is strongly linked to the cryptocurrency gambling website Stake and is currently also being heavily promoted by Trainwreck who is another well known streamer in the community.

After much deliberation over the internet, a lot of things are still uncertain about Speed’s future at YouTube but he could be one of those streamers who pick up the fight against YouTube for some time or he could simply end up in a love-hate relationship with the platform like PewDiePie himself.

Whether or not will Speed join Kick is still a matter only Speed himself knows about and is for him to decide but if he does make such a decision, it will be interesting to see if YouTube tries to counter the deal that Kick offers him as YouTube themselves have been known to buy out streamers from other platforms such as Twitch.
