Blizzard Entertainment doesn’t disappoint with its games. From the most acclaimed Call of Duty series to the World of Warcraft series, the studios have given fans some cool games. Another spectacular series from Blizzard Entertainment is the Diablo series. The Diablo series is an action role-playing dungeon-crawling game with three parts, and the fourth is about to be released soon. Every game from the series has received positive reviews, and the fourth part, Diablo 4, is no exception.

The Sanctuary realm serves as the backdrop for the Diablo series. Sanctuary, the fictional world of this game, is being overrun by demonic forces from the Burning Hells. The player assumes the character of a hero. In addition, they have to battle their way through armies of demons to prevent the forces of evil from occupying Sanctuary. This game is, in all its senses, a masterpiece. Furthermore, critics consider Diablo 4 to be the best installment in the series.

The fourth installment of the Diablo series, Diablo 4, is all set to launch on the 6th of June. Devs released the game for certain high-rated reviewers before the official launch, and their criticism has been impressively positive. This is a rare sight for the current video game industry. It’s because, as of late, most of the AAA title launches have been massively underwhelming, with games being either not competent story/plot-wise or just having tons of annoying bugs & crashes. Let’s take a look at some of these reviews:

“A stunning sequel with near perfect endgame and progression design that makes it absolutely excruciating to put down.”

IGN

IGN gave Diablo IV a 9.3 out of 10. The review praised the game’s combat, loot system, and world design while also noting that the story is a bit of a disappointment.

“The best Diablo game yet.

Fextralife

Fextralife gave Diablo IV a 9 out of 10. Critics praised the game’s improved combat, more complex loot system, and more immersive world.

“A worthy successor to the Diablo franchise.

PC Gamer

PC Gamer gave Diablo IV a 90 out of 100. The reviewers commended the game’s dark and atmospheric world, its satisfying combat, and its addictive loot system.

Meanwhile, Dexerto gave the game a 5/5 star rating. They were very pleased with the game and praised it a lot. They have claimed the game to be the best in the series and a mighty sequel to its predecessors.

There’s still a week before the official release of the game. Blizzard has put a lot into the development of this game, from the in-game mechanics to the overall story. And the reviews are well deserved for such a masterpiece. Now it’s all up to gamers to prove whether this game is as good as the review makes it seem or not.
