“Life really isn’t fair is it?”: Erobb gets banned for 30 days, streamers call out Twitch’s decision

Streamers weighed in on the streamer's month-long ban
Erobb, a Twitch streamer and brother to League of Legends streamer Tyler1, was recently hit with a 30-day ban off of Twitch, later revealed to be given due to threatening violence to a chatter annoying him in his offline chat.
Many streamers have come out in response to the news, shocked at Twitch taking such harsh measures for a comparatively minor issue. Some even called out Twitch’s inconsistency, with many people getting banned for a lesser time even after committing worse acts on their stream.
Erobb’s ban deemed unfair by many

Erobb had been on a visit to the QTCinderella organised event Sh*tCamp with his wife Britt when he suddenly received the news that he had been banned from the platform. The news couldn’t have come on a worse day as the streamer’s boat had capsized while kayaking, and he lost his phone having pictures of his daughter, Emmy, in the process.
Erobb had admitted to messaging “I cannot wait to see you at TwitchCon, I’m going to beat the f**k out of you.” to a viewer, which was what probably led to his ban. Ludwig reacted to this, replying with a bunch of question marks, and calling the situation “insane”. Adept also voiced her confusion at the platform’s decision.
Nick ‘nmplol‘ Polom sounded his disappointment at Twitch’s inconsistent banning policy, comparing his ban with the recent incident of Kimmikka returning after a week-long ban after performing sexual acts on her stream. He said-
"30 days for a joke. 7 for sex. 0 for view botting for years no one noticing getting in the top 100 on twitch and becoming an owner of the best streaming org in the world. Life really isn’t fair is it?"
Mizkif jokingly offered Erobb to come onto his stream so that both of them could get banned and go fishing. This ban was also why Erobb could not be part of the final day’s events at Sh*tCamp.
