Fortnite has once again begun its loop of vaulting and un-vaulting weapons that do not serve its purposes. At the end of the Skywalker week, several of the lightsabers have been vaulted, meaning that there is slim to no chance of those returning anytime soon in the game. Fortnite is known for vaulting weapons that they bring out only for specific events, such as the Pumpkin Launcher that comes down once a year during the Fortnitemares event before being completely vaulted again.

While this helps in generally keeping up with the hype of weapons that are in this loop of being vaulted and un-vaulted, fans generally have a mixed reaction towards this activity. For one, the community favorite weapons being vaulted means that they would no longer be available within the game, making it more difficult for the fans to get a hand on those weapons. But more importantly, this marketing strategy has led to backlash from the community where the Pulse Rifle was a favorite.

The Pulse rifle was added in Chapter 2 Season 7 of the game, so it has been within the game for quite some time. This assault rifle has gained popularity among fans due to its faster fire rate and its ability to take on Medium and long-range fights. But overall categorized as a mythical weapon, the community will want Fortnite to un-vault and bring back this gun soon again.

Fortnite to un-vault several weapons in Chapter 3 Season 5

Fortnite is set to un-vault several of its weaponry and re-introduce them in Chapter 3 Season 5 as a method of increasing its popularity and attracting new players. It is not very often that vaulted weapons are brought back, more so because vaulting them had a preceding reason behind it. Previously, the Pumpkin Launcher was un-vaulted for Fortnitemares 2022, and the positive responses have set off the developers into un-vaulting several other weapons.

Although the exact weapons to be reintroduced have not yet been confirmed, it is speculated that the uranium blaster will be one of the returning items. It is only speculated that the un-vaulting of these weapons will first be tried out in a limited play zone before making it available to the entire community. It will be interesting to find out how the community reacts once these weapons are reintroduced within the game.
