During any Spider-Man collaboration, Epic Games adds web shooters to Fortnite. Now, with the Spider-Man Across the Spider-verse collaboration, Spider-verse web shooters have made their way into Fortnite. Players can dwell on the fun of being Spiderman in Fortnite, a dream everyone saw as a child that will now take shape in Fortnite.
Equipping yourself with this tool will allow the players to attach to surfaces and swing around “Manhattan” like a superhero in action. The event for Fortnite: Spider-verse is now live for players to enjoy. Players can get some challenges that adhere to prizes and rewards, some of which are also free.
One among all finding the web shooters and swinging around with equipment will do the trick. But before all that happens and earning free rewards will have to wait a bit. Because players will first have to find it. And to make the matter easy, read on to immerse yourself in the Spider-verse.
Sling across the map with Web Shooters in Fortnite
When players take the initiative to look for equipment, they will also have to know about alternatives. One of the easy ways is to just buy the Web shooters straight off of Slappy Shores. However, the Web shooters randomly spawn on the floor throughout the map; it’s pretty much a hit-and-miss game for those who would want to get one. However, you can buy web shooters from Spider-Gwen.
So to buy it from Gwen, another question arises: Where do I look for Gwen on the whole map in Fortnite? Well, that would be no problem at all either. While the event of Fortnite x Spider-verse is live and kicking new heights, players will have to get it done because the NPC of Gwen in the game will no longer be available for players to get their hands on Web Shooter.
Players will have to make their way to Slappy Shores to find Gwen. Being a Spider-Man character, it’s only natural for her to appear at the most tacky and remote places in Slappy Shores. In this case, she’ll be found on the rooftops, right around the Slurp Room in Fortnite. To get there, players will have to use grind rails to reach the roof, where Gwen is walking around randomly.
Once players are near Gwen, a chat option will pop up. Players will have to head right there. Click on the button (E on PC), which will prompt the conversation with NPC Gwen’s character. Here, Gwen will give players the option to buy items for gold. These can be either web shooters or either a mini shield or a shield keg. Players can use web shooters if available.
