GTA Online: New insider leak suggests a remastered Liberty City in future online DLC Content

Take-Two Interactive, the studio behind the game, has promised “nothing sort of perfection,” so players are more hyped now. Moreover, considering that the game has been in development for over a decade, gamers can expect a lot from this.

Furthermore, GTA Online’s DLC content has always left players in awe. Cayo Perico Heist DLC sets players in an entirely new location. Hence, the inclusion of a remastered Liberty City doesn’t seem like a pipe dream in GTA Online.

Also, considering their recent masterpiece after GTA 5, Red Dead Redemption 2, was an artistic beauty, players’ expectations are high. Almost every day, new insider leaks are surfacing for GTA Online and GTA 6, And most of these leaks are new, promising things players are going to play, including in the final stretch of the game.

In 2008, Liberty City served as the backdrop for Grand Theft Auto IV. Since then, the New York location has appeared a few times, but we haven’t had the chance to see it again. The heist would be one where players would be tasked with collecting gold throughout the city. This DLC Content looks promising and is probably the biggest among all the previous updates. An ex-Rockstar employee provided the information and also claimed that the forthcoming update will be the last one for Xbox One and PS4, according to Markothemexican. Developers will continue to update current-gen consoles like the Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.

Although this leak hasn’t been confirmed yet, it’s still something players are looking forward to. If this DLC happens, then it would be the biggest GTA Online update ever. Players are just hoping to see this implemented in the game. And it’s time we see something Liberty City-related in GTA!
