How to register as a VIP in GTA Online: PC/Console guide

You can enjoy VIP missions by registering yourself as VIP in GTA Online.

Rockstar Games has added a number of ways to earn money in Grand Theft Auto Online. There are heists, passive businesses, side missions, etc. For doing some jobs and missions you need to become a CEO, MC club President or VIP. A CEO or MC President can buy other businesses, which unlocks new missions, vehicles, and ultimately more ways to earn money. If you want to buy or customize, you must be a CEO or MC President.

For becoming a CEO or MC club President, you need to buy an office or clubhouse respectively. If you are a new player, both of these properties cost you a lot of money. All these roles offer different perks and business opportunities in GTA Online. The cheapest office costs you $1 million dollars whereas you can buy a clubhouse for $200,000. But if you’re just straight-up broke, you can become a VIP. It’s the cheapest of all the roles you can take upon in GTA Online. It will just cost you $50,000 to become a VIP.

Become a VIP in GTA Online

As mentioned earlier, make sure you have enough money to become a VIP. There can only be 10 VIPs in a session. So make sure in the session you are playing in has less than 10 registered VIPs. You need to follow these steps in order to become VIP in GTA Online on PC or any console you are playing on:

First, open the interaction menu in GTA Online. To open the interaction menu you need to press down the touchpad on PlayStation; press the view button on Xbox; and press M on your keyboard on PC.
Now scroll down and open the ‘SecuroServ‘ option.
You will see a ‘Register as VIP’ on the top of the menu. Select this option.
Now you have to name your organization, and after that, you are good to go.

Also, keep in mind that your VIP status will go away after 4 hours (in real-time, not in-game) and you need to wait 12 hours to register yourself as VIP again. You can access ‘Finance and Felony’ DLC missions after registering yourself as VIP. As you have only 4 hours, you should head to complete these missions quickly. Furthermore, you cannot become a VIP if you already have an office in GTA Online. You will only be able to become a CEO. CEO has all the VIP perks plus some additional advantages.
