Nintendo put its all into making this series. Tears of the Kingdom met high expectations despite the current bad state of AAA releases in the video game industry. Nintendo took its time to release this game. They concluded the development and released the game a whole year later. They did this to eliminate bugs & crashes and to make the player experience smooth.

This incident of theft has taken place twice by now. The first incident took place a month before the official release of the game. The first person is a 21-year-old guy who landed a job at Amazon. As the company was all set for the big release, the new employee was nowhere to be found. When the supervisors called his home, the mother picked up the phone instead. She told them he’dhe’s been playing games all day, the reason for not showing up for work. Upon investigating, they found out he was playing Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom, which wasn’t even available to purchase. Later, they revealed that he had stolen a copy of the game from Amazon’s warehouse.

The employer made the employee pay in full for the game and terminated them on the spot. The second thief went further than just stealing a game copy. The 24-year ex-employee now also disappeared right before the game’s release. But instead of stealing the copy of the game to play, he also stole two Legend of Zelda merchandise, the gorgeous Tears of the Kingdom pro controller and Amiibos figurine. He planned to sell these items on third-party websites, but authorities caught him in the process. The authorities incarcerated the employee because he committed a crime with malicious intent, unlike the first incident.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been a major success for Nintendo. And also, this game is loved by fans all around. And we can see people taking some not-so-conventional measures to play the game. However, that is not the correct way, and gamers should choose the legal and appropriate route to show their love and passion for the game. This would help the developers and prove the worth of such a masterpiece too.
