Metal Gear game series creator Hideo Kojima praises Pathaan star Shah Rukh Khan, compares it with Mission Impossible and 007

The Indian film industry has been booming lately. Indian movies are sweeping waves not only in the domestic but international box offices, too! Moreover, the recent movie Pathaan, which had one of India’s biggest film stars, Shah Rukh Khan, did exceptionally well. Also, the filmmakers released the movie in Japan on 1st September. Many famous personalities, especially the Metal Gear game series creator Hideo Kojima, praised the movie a lot!

The Metal Gear series is one of the few original game series that every old-school gamer has played. Created by Hideo Kojima, the series has struck the hearts of fans throughout the decades since its release. Furthermore, a reboot of the third installment of the series, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, is getting a remake. The series returning has thrilled fans. However, recently, Kojima’s thrill is over something else.

With Pathaan’s release in Japan, Kojima gave the movie a watch. And since then, Kojima has been singing the movie’s praises. He even took it to his official Twitter handle to tell fans how great of a movie it was.

Pathaan has been a blockbuster, both domestically and internationally. The movie grossed over a box office collection of 5.43 Billion INR just domestically. Moreover, the film continues to collect a huge margin as it’s being launched in certain countries where it hasn’t yet. Fans have been loving the movie and praising the lead star, Shah Rukh Khan a lot. Moreover, one of these people is the Metal Gear series creator, Hideo Kojima.

Kojimathe talked about how mentally and physically exhausted he has been recently. He then touched upon how the movie Pathaan and especially Shah Rukh’s acting rejuvenated him. He further said how good of a movie Pathaan is and his experience in IMAX was one of his best moments. Fans know how much Kojima likes movies, and he also explained it with his review on Pathaan.

Kojima compared the movie to James Bond and Mission Impossible. He also mentioned that he’d buy the OST and BD of the movie as soon as they came out. Hideo Kojima said,

“Too busy these days, mentally and physically exhausted. Need to refill my high-octane tank. So, I saw the Indian movie “PATHAAN” in IMAX! Well, it was awesome! I was numb! It opened my blood vessels! It was a MAD MAX level of energy! After seeing this, I think I’ll be able to hold it for a while! Mission Impossible, 007, RRR, John Woo, the whole shebang! A few Metal Gear elements too! There was applause after the screening. Highly recommended! If you don’t see it, you’re missing out! Movies these days think too hard. This is pure entertainment film! It’s still hot, so watch this movie and blow off the summer heat! I’ll buy the BD when it comes out, and I want the OST too.”

Fans were excited to see their favorite game series creator praise another country’s media and actors so much. This was not just a change of pace for Kojima but also fans, especially Indians!
