Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson is known for his prank videos, gaming content on YouTube, and most of all, his philanthropic work. He has over 150 million subscribers on the platform. Not a day goes by that you don’t hear his name in the headlines.

As you can see from the title, this is not the first time this has happened to the American YouTuber. MrBeast, not so long ago, was in hot water for gifting a waitress a car as a tip. Besides that, he has previously gifted a house to a pizza delivery man and even gifted one of his subscribers an entire island.

This time around, however, he is facing backlash for purchasing an entire neighborhood for his staff to live in.

Dexerto on Twitter reported about MrBeast’s latest cancellation by the online community. Later on, the American philanthropist clarified the situation and jokingly said, “Only I could get canceled for giving people a place to live with no strings attached.”

He further said,” All these company town tweets make no sense; I was just helping some people.”

Apparently, Mr Beast bought quite a few houses and added his team’s logo to his staff members’ homes. Moreover, there is also speculation that he might even build a big studio and a warehouse there in the future.

It’s no surprise MrBeast, had his back covered by his followers who believe wholeheartedly that the YouTuber seldom does anything wrong. This time was no exception either, the netizens were quick to take the side of their beloved icon.
