“Its abundantly clear,” Ninja explains why Mixer failed and why Kick might succeed
Popular streamer Ninja recently shared his thoughts on why Mixer failed as a streaming platform.
Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is a well-known figure in the world of online streaming. He recently shared his thoughts on why the new streaming platform Kick is likely to succeed where Mixer failed. During a Fortnite stream on his Twitch channel, Blevins was asked by his brother and fellow streamer, BeardedBlevins, to explain what he thought made Kick better than its competitors.
Ninja was previously signed with Mixer. He had firsthand experience with the platform’s issues. “The main issue with Mixer, compared to Kick, and it’s abundantly clear, it took too long to get things done, right?” He claimed that Mixer’s primary problem was that it took too long to make meaningful changes. “Everyone’s like, ‘Stake has all the capital in the world, so it’s not going to fail.’ But it’s like, Microsoft has all the capital in the world too.”
According to Ninja, Microsoft, as a large corporation, had enough resources to sustain Mixer. However, they did not listen to feedback from streamers and creators. Ninja further explained how his representatives had tried to bring meaningful changes to Mixer. However, he revealed that he and his family members had to take help from employees to set up their accounts, which was not acceptable.

Ninja thinks Kick may have what it takes to succeed
In contrast to Mixer, Ninja believes that Kick has what it takes to succeed. “Yeah, that’s a huge part of it. Kick’s got a super easy setup.” He praised Kick’s easy setup, claiming that it is a “huge part of it.” Kick’s easy setup has the potential to attract more streamers and creators who may have found Mixer’s complicated sign-up process too cumbersome. Blevins further believes that Kick’s revenue policies will make it a success. He noted that Kick’s lucrative revenue policies are excellent for the competition, as they promote excellent deals.
Ninja’s views on Kick’s potential success are noteworthy, given his experience with multiple streaming platforms. Ninja was one of the biggest names to switch platforms from Twitch to Mixer. Microsoft’s streaming platform signed him to an alleged multi-million-dollar deal. However, after Mixer’s eventual demise, he returned to Twitch and now streams across platforms. Ninja’s experience with different platforms gives him a unique perspective on what makes a successful streaming platform.
Ninja’s views on Kick are positive, but it remains to be seen if the platform can live up to its potential. Kick is a new streaming platform from the owners of Stake, a popular online casino. While Kick’s revenue policies may be attractive to streamers, its association with an online casino could cause concerns about the platform’s credibility. Some may view Kick’s association with Stake as a negative. This may make it difficult for the platform to attract a more significant number of creators. Only time will tell if Kick can live up to its potential and establish itself as a major player in the world of online streaming.
