Players are just a few days away from Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 season 2. Infinity ward isn’t backing off in revealing new features and changes coming with season 2. Players are all hyped up and eagerly waiting for Warzone 2.0 season 2. They recently revealed Ashika Island, a new map that will allow Resurgence and DMZ game mode. Now, a reliable insider has revealed that a comparatively well-liked feature from Warzone Caldera may be making a comeback in the game, but in a new form.

Devs have also released a tac map and a list of the POIs that will be on the new Ashika Island map. The sharp-eyed gaming community doesn’t let anything pass by without getting noticed. Although it isn’t officially mentioned, the Redeploy Balloons feature might be returning to Warzone 2.0. Players noticed this on the Ashika Island promo image.

MWIINTEL revealed on his Twitter account that Redeploy Balloons from Warzone 1 will be making comeback with a new name and new mechanics in Warzone 2.0.

For players who don’t know about Redeploy Balloons feature, It was used to escape from tight positions and players can move across the map quickly. It was borrowed from Apex Legends. Players could attach themselves to these balloons and launch themselves into the air. After flying off, you can just drop wherever you want. Warzone 2.0 has substantially nerfed movement and increased the damage dealt by gas. So, this feature will help players a lot. If you don’t know already, Warzone 2.0 is totally focused on current combat. While Caldera is set in the World War 2 era. That’s why this feature might be renamed to Redeploy Drones. Also, this feature may end up being “personal” as opposed to being a shared map item. It’s also unclear whether it’ll be included in Ashika Island as well as Al Mazrah.

Infinity Ward has yet to formally disclose any additional details about Warzone 2.0 Season 2. Devs will reveal the roadmap for the coming season 2 on 8 February. It should provide the community with a better indication of what to expect in the upcoming season.
