Recently, a tragedy occurred in Odisha, where three trains, moving at high speed, collided with each other. This has resulted in an immaculate loss of life. Furthermore, this crash has led to the deaths of at least 261 people and the injuries of over 1,000 others. People have labeled this unfortunate event as the Odisha Train Accident. This incident took place on the 2nd of June. The initial collision occurred when a passenger train, the Coromandel Shalimar Express, derailed and hit a goods train. The derailed coaches of the Coromandel Shalimar Express then fell onto the opposite track. Another passenger train, the Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express, struck it then. The cause of the collision is still under investigation, but it is believed that human error may have played a role.
