PUBG Mobile Nusa map officially unveiled, release date and more explored

With six maps being explored by the players in the battle royale game till date, Tencent is gearing up to add PUBG Mobile Nusa map. The new map is apparently going to be the smallest map in the game and its first look was shown in a competitive tournament recently.
When it comes to content, PUBG Mobile seems to be far ahead as it frequently tries to bring modifications to its game by adding crossover content with unique collaborations or adding a new map or weapon to the game, so that players do not get wearied by playing in the same format every time. After adding a new TDM map named Santorini, the new PUBG Mobile Nusa map brings a whole new experience for the players.

PUBG Mobile Nusa map’s first look

The PUBG Mobile World Invitational was wrapped up a few days ago and now regional teams are competing at their respective Pro Leagues. During one such PMPL for the South East Asian region, Tencent provided the fans with some glimpses of PUBG Mobile Nusa Map. As per the officials, the new map is going to be available from next month which implies it is likely to be added during the 2.2 update. Players can expect the map to be available during the second week of September as updates usually go live after a span of two months each.
PUBG Mobile Nusa map is going to have a size of 1 x 1 km making it the smallest game of the map. The first look of this map showcased during the tournament reveals an island surrounded by huge mountains. Being the smallest map, the map will allow only 32 players whereas the gameplay will last around 8-10 minutes. Given such a short time for gameplay, it is unlikely that this map will be used in competitive tournaments.

While the map got unveiled officially today, players were already aware about the map’s surroundings and gameplay due to the leaks provided by beta test users. The beta version for the 2.2 update was recently launched, helping players to get an idea about the upcoming features of the game. Even though the 2.2 update will not bring any collaboration, players can still look forward to new maps and weapons in the September version with some exciting events revolving around the map.
As per the leaks, the PUBG Mobile Nusa map will bring some additional features that are not available in other classic maps-
- New weapons- Flammable crossbow, NS2000 Shotgun
- Zip lines
- Boost Pool
- Lifts
- New loot crate
- Big beachball
Nusa is going to be the 7th map of the game that can be played in all of the modes- Solo, Duo and Squad. The official unveil comes right after PUBG Mobile announced a collaboration with Dragon Ball in 2023, therefore, the game is picking up pace to become popular once again.
