The Games Awards is a great event that pays homage to such games, eSport entries, and other deserving nominees. Moreover, HBO’s The Last Of Us won The Best Adaptation award at the Game Awards 2023!

The Game Awards 2023 was a grand and successful event. There were around 32 categories, which didn’t restrict themselves to just video games but included even eSports & content creators. Furthermore, games like Alan Wake 2, which came out quite recently, swept away many awards! However, the game didn’t bag the Game of the Year award, and Baldur’s Gate 3 got the win instead.

Furthermore, there were many new reveals at the Game Awards 2023, too! From a trailer of Marvel’s Balde to Black Myth: Wukong, the event had many new things. And recently, this year, HBO released a live adaptation of the video game with the same title! Moreover, the immense success that the show received was something no one imagined.

Not just gamers but even non-gamers enjoyed the adaptation and loved watching the story of Joel & Ellie unfold. Furthermore, the show had many elements of action and heart-touching moments, too!

And that is the reason behind the immense success of the show. The Last of Us even won the Best Adaptation award in the Game Awards 2023. Fans were really happy to see one of their favorite shows get the recognition it deserves.
