The hype for GTA 6 is at an all-time high, with the trailer only days from release. Fans have been yearning to get their hands on some GTA 6 information. Their wish finally came true with some unexpected GTA 6 leaks from Rockstar’s Art Director’s son. xQc, being a video game enthusiast, could not resist the temptation to look at the new leaks.

During a Kick live stream on December 3rd, xQc mentioned how he had seen GTA 6 leaks on X. He added that he wanted to look at them on stream but wondered whether doing so would get him in trouble. Eventually, he decided to go ahead with it but chose to leave the leaks off-screen and show his face.

xQc reacts to GTA 6 Leaked Footage

The segment started with hesitation on xQc’s part. He wasn’t sure whether putting up the leaked map image would get him banned or flagged by Rockstar Games. He eventually caves and asks his chat to re-link the leaks to him. However, he puts up the footage on his second monitor. Additionally, he ensured none of the leaked footage was shown on his stream.

xQc proceeds to react to the footage after muting the audio. He starts by questioning the legitimacy of the leaks. He talks about how absurd it is for a friend of a Rockstar employee’s son to leak something as sensitive as this. xQc refused to believe that a parent would leave their workstation open with the company portal active so their kid could snoop around.

The leaker of the footage took it off for no particular reason, they claim it was good timing. Footage consists of a larger Vice City, consisting of two maps of Los Santos.’ You know, chat? Guys, out of respect for the company, I’m not going to f**king leak it. Bro, I know I’m just a small part in this world, okay? But, I’m not going to bother with it.”

As the former overwatch pro scrolled through the GTA 6 subreddit, a viewer mentioned that the TikToker who leaked the information had deleted the original video. Upon hearing this, xQc decided not to show the TikTok video on his stream. He added that he would not show the video without respect for the company.

xQc admitted that he was only a tiny part of the world. His not showing the video would not have any significant impact, as people would easily be able to find the video regardless. He added that he was not restrained from showing the video because of legal repercussions. Instead, he respected the effort put in by the gaming studio, where nothing had leaked for over ten years.
