The legendary streamer Disguised Toast
Disguised Toast wasn’t always the Among us guy we knew and loved. Before Toast was famous for playing among us, he was famous for playing a game that was all the hype in the early 2010s. The game he played was Hearthstone and he was extremely skilled at it, using his own free decks to reach the highest ranks, a feat thought impossible at that time. As the popularity of Hearthstone dropped Toast found himself eventually joining Offline TV to produce content.
What was Disguised Toast’s career like in the beginning?
Toast started by making videos on Hearthstone without any voice or face reveals. His videos were popular among the community and everyone knew who Disguised Toast was. He was known for using unconventional decks and never following the meta. Even if he did that he was one of the best Hearthstone players there were and even won a Hearthstone tournament which he famously played putting on a Toast mask which eventually became the iconic profile icon.
He made it to the ONOG PAX East majors in 2017 and infamously got disqualified because he overslept, with his skill he would’ve surely made it to the top ten at least if not won the tournament. His name also came from the ‘SI:7 agent’ card in Hearthstone which had the line “This guy is Toast” which he converted to Disguised Toast.

The iconic face reveal moment
Toast was known to don the Toast mask that became an icon among the Hearthstone community. Even casters at Hearthstone events would comment on his hilarious yet iconic appearance. He was destroying his opponents while wearing the mask and using funny gestures. His entertaining personality caught the attention of many viewers and everyone knew that this was Disguised Toast.
He used his name to its fullest potential and wore the Toast mask because it ‘Disguised’ him, something that he found very funny and so did the audience that watched him. However, in one stream Toast didn’t notice that the camera had changed angles and ended up accidentally revealing his face as he had not worn his mask.
“Oh my god!” he said after reading the chats and realising that his face had been exposed. He was a bit worried in the beginning but Toast took this in stride and slowly got more comfortable revealing his face to the audience. “Sometimes best face is own face” he said in Yoda’s voice in one of his later streams where he stopped wearing the mask.

What did Toast tweet recently?
Toast went to Cananda to meet his family recently and his mother found the legendary mask that he wore on his streams. It sent everyone down Nostalgia Lane and even Toast remembered the days of the original Disguised Toast. He has come a long way since then, from being known as a famous Hearthstone streamer to joining OfflineTV and becoming an Among us God and being one of the most-watched streamers on Twitch. Not to forget Twitch’s premium ‘Oturan’ and Death Note streamer which ended up with him getting handed a DMCA strike on Twitch.
It seems that Toast’s career isn’t ending anytime soon and everyone wishes the same. It isn’t only his gaming abilities that people admire but also his endlessly entertaining weird personality. This combination of traits might one day make Toast hold the position of most-watched streamer for a very long time. But now all we can do is watch his extremely entertaining Among us streams on Twitch which have been rebooted for another round, even if he claims each one is the last.
