Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 reported to bring game mode similar to Rocket League called CODball

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is set to bring in a game mode called CODball, and this mode is quite the opposite of what the fans would expect from a war game. Although nothing yet has been confirmed by the official developers, fans have been speculating that this new feature is set to be intune with the FIFA World Cup, with popular characters like Neymar, Messi, and Pogba already set to make their appearance within the game as operators.

So far, only the game mode has been confirmed, although nothing specific has been mentioned about the working of this game mode, leading to anticipation about the date of its dropping in the game. Several fans have speculated that this mode will drop along with the Messi, Neymar, and Pogba avatars within the game on 21st November, although nothing has been confirmed so far and most of the information has been coming through data miners over the internet.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is set to add several new game modes days after its launch, as suggested by popular leakers, although the exact nature is yet to be revealed. The leak indicates that there will be nine new or returning game modes which include Reinforce, Drop Zone, Gun Game, Infected, Uplink, Cranked, Cyber Attack, Team Defender, and Grind. The game initially launched with the classic 12 game modes that are the staple of usually all CoD game, and the developers are looking to add more modes on as the game goes ahead.

Similar to previous titles, this game has initially been divided into two sections: classic core maps and battle maps and both of them feature the traditional game modes although subject to change based upon fan’s reactions. Along with the classic core comprising of the deathmatch and Domination within the Battle having ground wars, there are also new modes called Knockout and Prisoner rescue. It will be interesting to find out how the community reacts once the new game modes are finally dropped into the game after CODball is released.
