Fortnite is very bad at keeping secrets, and that is proved by its inability to hold on to exclusive information regarding its new season. It has already been teased that Fracture will be the last event of Chapter 3, drawing speculations if Season 5 would even be released on December 4, or if the developers would directly skip onto Chapter 4 Season 1. Since Fracture is scheduled to end on December 4, until Epic Games confirms anything, Season 5 appears highly unlikely at this moment.

However, even before the rumors of Season 5 began circulating, Fortnite had quite the speculations regarding the game and its upcoming changes. For one, the new and exclusive locations of the new map have been released. In terms of the lore, a battle against the Herald will destroy the current island Artemis, and fans would be forced to shift onto a new map codenamed Demeter. This new map is set to feature as many as 11 new locations, which are mentioned below.

Fortnite has decided to milk all of its possible collaborations ranging all the way from Assassin’s Creed and Uncharted to Rick and Morty, and is therefore set to bring back the most popular items within those packs as part of a new pack. Although the exact mode of return has not yet been confirmed by official sources, there are two specific ways that these items could feature. One would be a return to the shop as part of a rotational package, and secondly, it appears more likely that these items might return as part of the next Battle Pass.

Presently, Epic Games has refused to comment on the return but has also been silently releasing some of the collaboration packs back into the store like the recently released Naruto pack. However, overall, it is commendable that Fortnite is trying to make the game more inclusive by taking the community’s opinions into consideration and releasing these skins again into the game.
