Belgium Vs Finland Player Ratings

Belgium, the FIFA top ranked team in World football continue with their dominance on the major occasions as they maintained their hundred percent win record to top their group B standing in the Euro 2020, cruising past a helpless Finland 2-0 on the way. After back to back wins against Russia and Denmark, Belgium once again ushered their utmost dominance in this match against Finland, outplaying the Finnish for most of the game. Belgium came close but couldn’t break the deadlock untill the 74th minute when Vermaelen’s head ricocheted off the bar and off Finland keeper Hradecky to put them in lead. At the 81st minute, Lukaku doubled their lead with a brilliant hold up play in the box, coolly slotting onto the corner in a swift half turn, as Finland failed to make anything out of the last ten minutes. With this result, Finland are now third on goal difference and will be depending on the results of other third placed teams in other groups for their qualification into the knockouts.

Finland

Lukas Hradecky – 7/10
