Former F1 driver Alexander Wurz praised Max Verstappen for his performance at the British GP. Verstappen’s qualifying was disrupted after damaging his car significantly. This resulted in him finishing in the top three.

Alexander Wurz appreciated Max Verstappen for performing exceptionally well at the British GP. He acknowledged despite the RB20 not being the fastest car on the grid, Verstappen’s exceptional skills and strategic driving allowed him to maintain his position as the championship leader. This made his performance at Silverstone as one of the best, highlighting his talent and determination. Although, it was Lewis Hamilton who won the race.

Max is the leader in the championship with a car that is not the fastest. I therefore consider his performance at Silverstone to be one of his best.

This careful patience helped the Dutchman save his energy and focus on the overall race, keeping him in a strong position the whole time.

He knew, this is not the moment to race with my elbows out, that moment will come later. There was still uncertainty about which tires to use, the strategy for the race and of course the weather.
