Charles Leclerc has shared his thoughts about seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton joining Ferrari in 2025. The 39-year-old will replace Carlos Sainz, with the Spaniard joining Williams Racing.
Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz were one of the most dynamic duos in Formula 1. Having amassed five wins, the two have propelled the Maranello-based team to second in the constructors’ championship this year.
Leclerc has since conveyed his excitement about working with Lewis Hamilton in the duture. He has, however, also admitted that winning the constructors’ title beside Sainz is his main objective for now.
I am not worried about Hamilton’s arrival; I see it much more as an opportunity. Lewis is the most successful; for me, it is not only an opportunity to learn from one of the best ever but also to compete with him in the same car. You never know if it is the car’s limitations that do not allow you to take certain corners or if he is particularly good. Next year I will have the answer, but first I want to finish in style with Carlos, with the Constructors’ title.
