Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time world champion, is one of the most adored personalities in the world of F1. He has a global fanbase and all this has been extremely evident during the ongoing 2024 Chinese Grand Prix weekend.
Ahead of the upcoming 56-lap Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton arrived on the main straight just a while back and seeing the legend, the fans at the Shanghai circuit went absolutely wild. The decimal levels were off the charts and even a few LH44 banners were spotted in the crowd.
Moreover, one hilarious fact about the whole thing was as Hamilton moved away after giving his interview, most of the media and camera crew went with him, leaving the Aston Martin duo of Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso with pretty much the interviewer!

The look on the faces of Stroll and Alonso was enough to understand that they were feeling a bit out of place amidst the support Hamilton was receiving. However, keeping in view how much the Brit has achieved in the sport, it really does not come off as a huge surprise.
Lewis Hamilton admits he has to do a ‘better job’ at Mercedes
While Lewis Hamilton has got the fans going wild during the ongoing Chinese Grand Prix weekend, ahead of the upcoming race, he has admitted that he has to do a better job. Hamilton was knocked out of qualifying yesterday just after the end of Q1.
The 39-year-old is well aware of the situation and wants to do a solid job going ahead.
It should have been easily Q2 yesterday, and it was entirely my fault. The team are doing a great job, and George did a great job with what we had. It made my life difficult, that's how I have always did it. There are new excuses, I have to do a better job.Lewis Hamilton said ahead of Chinese GP

The ongoing campaign is four rounds down and so far Hamilton has easily proved as the second-best driver at Mercedes against the young George Russell. However, keeping in view that the former has owned up to his shortcomings against Russell, it will be fascinating to see how he will perform during the upcoming 53-lap race!
