Fernando Alonso the two-time F1 world champion, has not been having the best of times on track this season. He has languished toward the fringes of the top 10 for most of 2024 and while the sport is currently in a short break, it seems he’s not been having the best of luck away from it either.

A video has surfaced on the web, in which, Fernando Alonso‘s $4 Million worth supercar, Aston Martin Valkyrie is getting carried away by a truck. In Monza, Alonso’s car broke down while he was exiting from a certain place.

Moreover, seeing Alonso dealing with the issue, a decent crowd gathered around him to see what was up with his car. One interesting fact about the Valkyrie is that it was designed with the assistance of F1 aero-genius Adrian Newey.

The Brit has been linked with Aston Martin for quite some time. Lawrence Stroll and Co. are trying their best to get him from 2025 onwards and even Alonso has multiple times admitted to the idea of having him within the team.

Aston Martin doing something ‘really wrong’ in 2024

While Alonso has found himself in the limelight for his supercar issues, he is frustrated with how his season has panned out with Aston Martin. The AMR24 is easily the fifth fastest car on the grid but is nowhere near the expectations of Alonso.

After his disappointing 11th-place finish in Monza, Alonso grudgingly admitted to something being extremely wrong with the 2024 challenger.

I hope we understand things that we are doing wrong, as definitely we are doing something really wrong and we get better for Baku.

The 43-year-old has so far managed to amass only 50 points in the Driver’s Championship. Lance Stroll, on the other hand, has managed only 24. Keeping in view the incessant on-track struggles of Aston Martin, it will be fascinating to see what kind of a challenger they will come up with for the super-exciting Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
