Former Haas team principal Guenther Steiner has shared his thoughts on Max Verstappen‘s future. Verstappen was recently linked with a move to Mercedes for the 2025 Formula 1 season.
Max Verstappen is one of the most sought-after drivers in Formula 1. The Dutchman has secured three world championships at just 26 years of age and leads the title race this year as well. Lately, Verstappen has shown his discontent with Red Bull in light of their decline in performances.
Guenther Steiner has since said that Verstappen wanted to go to Mercedes for the coming years. However, the Silver Arrows put all doubts and speculations to bed, signing Andrea Kimi Antonelli as their driver for 2025.

Despite all the rumors, Verstappen has pledged his allegiance to the Milton-Keynes-based team. He has on many occasions, spoken of the love and warmth of Red Bull and is keen on succeeding with them in the near future.

Finnish F1 driver Mika Hakkinen has appreciated Max Verstappen’s approach to racing since his debut at the pinnacle of motorsport. The Dutchman has been in phenomenal form since his maiden title triumph in 2021.

Mika Hakkinen has claimed that Verstappen’s willingness to take risks makes him a better and different driver than others. The 55-year-old furthermore deemed the discipline and dedication of the Dutchman as the reason for his success.
The three-time world champion is currently on a shaky spell, with Red Bull having won none of the last six races this season. Regardless of the issues, Verstappen continues to work hard in hopes of returning to the top in no time.
