Lando Norris achieved a stellar year in terms of results and performance in the 2025 season. The Briton won the driver’s title this year, albeit with a cutthroat battle against Max Verstappen, and won it by just two points.

Regardless, he achieved an extremely positive season compared to many other drivers on track. Lewis Hamilton had a contrasting time to the reigning world champion in terms of performance and suffered from many disappointments in his debut Ferrari season.

Now, Lando Norris has talked about Lewis Hamilton and his current difficulties at Ferrari. Initially, the two weren’t on the best of terms, with Norris making many controversial statements about the 40-year-old.

However, Hamilton squashed the beef after congratulating the McLaren star on his title win. The 26-year-old then responded warmly and confessed regret over his past comments on the seven-time champion.

After the heartwarming back and forth between the two, Lando Norris also shared his candid opinion on Lewis Hamilton’s intense struggle in his debut year with Ferrari. Initially, the Briton talked about his good battles against the rivals and claimed that he wished to race a bit more against Hamilton. Norris accepted that Ferrari struggled a bit more than everyone else expected them to on the grid.

We’ve had a good amount of battles already. I would love to race a bit more with Lewis. Obviously, Ferrari struggled a lot more this year than I think everyone was expecting.

Speaking on Lewis Hamilton’s struggles, Lando Norris claimed that the former had proved himself to be one of the best drivers of all time in Formula 1. The Briton insisted everyone was aware of Hamilton’s capabilities to bounce back from struggling performances, and he could definitely do it compared to anyone else. Further, Norris reckoned that he wanted to race against the seven-time champion more on the grid in the coming years.

Lewis has proved himself to be probably the best of all time. Everyone knows if anyone can bounce back from difficult years, it’s Mr Hamilton, and I would love to race against him more.

Certainly, Max Verstappen has earned his spot among the greats in Formula 1, more so with his stellar performances in the 2025 season. Lewis Hamilton is also among the greats, as he has equaled the legendary Michael Schumacher for the most amount of championship wins. As such, Lando Norris believes that to even be racing in the same era as these drivers is a massive privilege in itself.

Lando Norris revealed how much of a privilege it was for him to be racing against the best drivers in the world in Formula 1. Norris pointed out that there were a good number of those drivers in Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, and many more. The Briton revealed that a lot of the current drivers wanted to achieve results like those drivers and earn a massive name in the pinnacle of motorsport.

It’s always a privilege that I get to race against someone that is the best in the world. You have got a good amount of those guys. You have Fernando [Alonso], Lewis, Max [Verstappen]. There’s a lot of us that want to climb in the footsteps of these other guys. George and Oscar [Piastri] are two of those and there’s so many guys on the grid.

Lando Norris noted.

Notably, Lando Norris won the 2025 driver’s title and joined a very exclusive bunch of winners in Formula 1. The Briton will surely hope to keep up with the championship-winning streak and continue to make his name in the sport. For now, Norris will enjoy the much-needed winter break and bounce back in the 2026 season with even better form than this time around.
