The 2024 Formula 1 season is coming to a close at the end of this week’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend. In light of this, the seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton very recently hosted the end-of-season dinner with the drivers.

The drivers have always had a tradition of hosting end-of-season dinners to commemorate the time spent on the grid over a year. Moreover, it is also looked at as the perfect occasion to celebrate the outgoing racers ahead of next season.

Looking at the reaction of the seven-time world champion, it is very evident that the drivers coming together meant a lot to him. They have had quite a few tussles with one another this year, but despite this, they all came together in order to have a good time at the request of Hamilton.

While most of the drivers had a great time at the end-of-season dinner, two drivers, in particular, maintained their distance from each other. The ongoing war of words between George Russell and Max Verstappen meant that they both sat as far away as possible from each other at the dinner table.

In light of this, Lando Norris came up with a hilarious post after the dinner.

2024 dinner! and yes, the two you’re thinking about were sat as far away from each other as possible!

In Abu Dhabi, Verstappen and Russell have taken brutal verbal shots at each other in light of the Qatar Grand Prix drama. The Free Practice 1 session of the final race weekend of 2024 is just around the corner, and thus, it is going to be fascinating to see how the whole situation will further develop. On-track, as well as more off-track fireworks, could be in store courtesy of the two extremely fierce drivers.
