Max Verstappen has shocked the entire F1 paddock in the past two races. The reigning world champion was nowhere close to the front midway through the year. Now, the Red Bull star has won two back-to-back races in Monza and Baku. Verstappen’s arch-rival Lewis Hamilton has now predicted that the Dutchman is not going to stop anytime soon.
The four-time world champion went winless for months after taking two wins early on in the season. Max Verstappen fell far behind Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris in the championship standings. But the past two races have rejuvenated Verstappen’s title chances. After the Azerbaijan GP triumph, the 27-year-old is now only 69 points behind championship leader Piastri.
Lewis Hamilton reckoned that a major reason behind Max Verstappen’s success was that Red Bull had brought in key upgrades at Monza. The seven-time world champion insisted that Milton Keynes had finally picked up the pace. So much so, Hamilton declared that Verstappen and Red Bull will go on to win all the remaining seven races.
Red Bull took an upgrade before, I think, in the last race, and they’ve now picked up their pace, and I expect they’re probably going to win all races.

Lewis Hamilton laments lack of upgrades at Ferrari
Max Verstappen may have had a dominant couple of rounds for Red Bull, but things are far different at Ferrari. Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc are struggling to catch up to the front runners. The Azerbaijan GP even sparked controversy after Hamilton failed to give his position back to Leclerc following team orders.

The British driver admitted that he was baffled with the situation at Maranello. According to Hamilton, the Italian team was making progress but results just don’t show it. Nevertheless, the 40-year-old insisted that Ferrari were capable of having a decent weekend in the remainder of the season.
It’s kind of crazy because we’ve made progress, yet we’ve had bad results in the last few races, because it felt like progress. So I think we’re able to do a good weekend, [and get] a good result.
Lewis Hamilton added
Lewis Hamilton admitted that he would love to have an upgrade to the SF25 to get better pace in qualifying and races. Unfortunately, the 40-year-old revealed that the team had no plans of bringing any update packages in the remainder of the season. The Scuderia had already switched focus entirely on the 2026 car. Thus, Hamilton had no choice but to try and maximize results from what he had at his disposal.
As I said, if we qualify better, we’re going to be in a much better position to race. I would give anything for an upgrade. But obviously we don’t have that – [the] focus is on next year’s car. So we just have to do better in optimizing and execution,
Lewis Hamilton noted
Certainly, Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari have had a rough time this season. The seven-time world champion is still struggling to match Leclerc on pure pace. However, the 2026 rules might finally open up the opportunity for Hamilton to bounce back with the new cars. The Tifosi would be waiting to see the British driver race at the front in F1 again, but in red.
