“I can’t stop the car,” Frustrated Lewis Hamilton lashes out on team radio after losing multiple positions in Brazilian GP
Lewis Hamilton's weekend in Brazil has worsened as the Brit has struggled with Mercedes W15's woes throughout the weekend.

Lewis Hamilton is a revered figure in Brazil. The 39-year-old has had a fair bit of success around the South American nation and has won the Brazilian GP thrice. On the contrary, his 2024 weekend in Interlagos has been the polar opposite. This was witnessed with the Mercedes driver complaining about the woeful W15 over the radio while losing heaps of places in the race.
Mercedes has been having two entirely different weekends in Brazil. While George Russell has been bearing the Silver Arrow flag at the front in both Sprint and the Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton has been facing the rear of the pack since the Free Practice session on Friday. Moreover, the race on Sunday was already understood to be a major feat as he got knocked out in Q1.
Subsequently, the seven-time champion turned heads during the Brazilian GP. However, for all the bad reasons, he was unable to drive the W15 and consequently locked up multiple times causing him to lose multiple places to his rivals.

Apart from this, Max Verstappen started behind the Brit on the grid. But he was able to make multiple places on the opening lap and got past the Mercedes driver with ease, showing his confidence in the RB20.
Lewis Hamilton has been struck with the trifecta of unluck in Brazil
Though Hamilton had been already struggling with the W15, his issues were on the verge of getting even worse. The Mercedes team had already been equipped with finding some solution for the seven-time champion to save his race, but then the 39-year-old jumped on the radio and revealed a major underlying problem with his car.
With Hamilton already struggling with the undrivable W15 and porpoising, his engine also seems to be ready to call it a day.

Apart from this, the Brit’s race currently seems to be with the Ferrari of Carlos Sainz and the lower midfield drivers. Thus, scoring a point might seem a big task for the 39-year-old during the race.
However, as it stands, the race has been red-flagged for an incident out on track. So multiple drivers are in contention to win the 2024 Brazilian Grand Prix amidst the torrential weather.
