Max Verstappen has continued to showcase his cold attitude after responding bleakly to multiple situations in the past. Verstappen has etched his name in the history books for forever after his performances. However, the Dutchman has also made it clear that he isn’t here to keep breaking records and make a legacy.

Max Verstappen has noted multiple times in the past that he wouldn’t stay in the sport for as long as the current veterans. The Dutchman noted that he had achieved everything he wanted from the sport after winning three world titles. As a result, it wouldn’t be surprising to witness the 26-year-old quit the sport after his deal ends with Red Bull in the 2028 season.

In Verstappen’s career in Formula 1, he has raced for a total of 199 races until now. The Dutchman was questioned if he was here to stay for 200 more races and amass total race starts like Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso. However, Verstappen made it very clear and blatantly responded that this wasn’t his goal and simply said ‘no’.

Multiple rumors have surfaced claiming Max Verstappen’s late-career entry to Mercedes in the coming seasons. However, Verstappen believed that 2028 was still far away after declaring his loyalty to Red Bull. Additionally, the 26-year-old claimed that he wasn’t thinking of a new contract in his mind. The reigning world champion would like to see how everything pans out by then and then only take a final call.
