Max Verstappen and Kelly Piquet started dating in 2020 and made their relationship official in 2021. Piquet, a Brazilian model and daughter of F1 legend Nelson Piquet, had previously been in a relationship with the Ex-Red Bull driver Daniil Kvyat, with whom she has a daughter, Penelope. She is often known as ‘P’ and has developed a strong bond with Verstappen. The 27-year-old often spends time with her at home and during his Twitch streams, where fans notice their affectionate relationship.

Penelope has appeared on Max Verstappen‘s live streams on several occasions. One such moment was in one of his live streams where P ran towards him crying and refusing to take a shower. The adorable exchange was captured by the three-time world champion, who tried to console her with patience and laughter.

During one of Verstappen’s live streams, while he was gaming with friends, Penelope asked for help and called the Dutchman “Mashy,” possibly a nickname she gave him. This nickname was first heard at the Japanese GP. On Verstappen’s recent 27th birthday, Penelope’s mother Kelly Piquet shared an Instagram story saying, “Happy Birthday, Mashy.” It was a heartwarming moment, as she used the nickname her daughter had given him to wish her boyfriend.

In the same stream where a heartwarming moment with Penelope was captured, Crane, a close friend of Max Verstappen who frequently plays with him during live gaming streams, asked the Dutchman if he was ready for the upcoming race in Austin. Verstappen humorously replied, “Not yet,” explaining that he only focuses on the race once he arrives at the track. He added that he wasn’t thinking about it much and was more excited to play EAFC at that moment.
