Red Bull driver Max Verstappen is currently one of the very best in Formula 1. Verstappen has amassed three world titles at the young age of just 26 and is also leading the drivers’ championship this year as well.

Max Verstappen is known to have an aggressive yet effective approach while racing on track. The 26-year-old has showcased his abilities time and again going up against experienced drivers in the sport.

Verstappen has recently shed light on being a bigger risk-taker during his initial stints at the pinnacle of motorsport. He has stated that Red Bull was not as competitive as they are now which compelled him to make strong bets during the early years.

Those first few years with the team, we obviously didn’t have the chance to win many races, so I automatically think that I took more risks to force a good result. That is certainly different now, now that I have been world champion a few times and can also continue to seriously fight for the championship

Red Bull team principal Christian Horner was alarmed after seeing McLaren’s pace during the Singapore Grand Prix. He has talked of the Milton-Keynes-based Red Bull’s approach to improving their pace for the final races of the season.

We’ve now got the best part of a month to work hard and try and bring some performance to the car in Austin. We’re 52 points ahead with six races to go. A lot of races, a lot of points on the board, there’s a lot of racing still to happen.

Christian Horner has cited the unpredictable nature of the championship with respect to the improving performances of the top teams. Horner then asserted that his team is fighting tooth and nail to bring feasible upgrades to the RB20 ahead of Austin.

Red Bull started the 2024 season on a high, notching seven wins out of the first ten races. However, their superior form has witnessed a gradual decline over the months. They require nothing less than a miracle to catch up to McLaren in the championship battle.
