“A lot can go wrong with Red Bull,” Lewis Hamilton sympathizes with Ferrari and Charles Leclerc after devastating loss

“A lot can go wrong with Red Bull,” Lewis Hamilton sympathizes with Ferrari and Charles Leclerc after devastating loss

The hopes of Ferrari and Charles Leclerc winning a World Title are slowly fading away after the recent DNF at the French Grand Prix, where Leclerc was leading the race but a mistake from him took him out and another potential win slipped out of his hands. The team has been getting demotivated, but Lewis Hamilton has something to share with the team as he sympathizes with them. Mercedes and Red Bull shared an extreme rivalry last year, although this year has been tough for Hamilton, he knows a few things that he said about the Bulls.

Hamilton feels happy that Ferrari are this quick this year that they are competing with Red Bull, but at the same time the bad luck that the Scuderia have had, the chances they have missed have costed them a lot, and as Hamilton stated;  “I’m gutted for Charles, who’s being doing a great job, as has Carlos [Sainz],” GPblog quoted the Brit.

What comes ahead right before the season break and after the season break can be extremely tough for the team, but there still are chances that they can be back upon chasing the Bulls and clinching the title.

The seven time World Champion said that it is going to be a tough job for the team to catch up with their competitors. It is quite obvious that if more similar mistakes are made by the team, Red Bull could swing their way through the championship, clinching it with almost no competition from Scuderia, whatsoever.

But Hamilton believes that Leclerc and the team should not give up so easily right now, “But a lot can go wrong up ahead [with Red Bull and Verstappen], so I would just advise them just to continue to push,” he concluded.

There are chances that if Leclerc manages to win the following races, he might as well win the championship.
