Ball is in Red Bull’s Court: Here is how Christian Horner’s team can win the Constructors’ Championship in Austin

Max Verstappen hopes to continue at Red Bull for years to come.
For a team as magnanimous and competitive as Red Bull, it might seem strange to the fans that the last time the Milton-Keynes-based team snatched a Constructors’ Championship victory, it was 2013. For 9 long years, Red Bull has time and again stood close but still too far from winning the F1 World Constructors’ title. But now, in the current 2022 season, it seems that the much-coveted trophy is finally going to Red Bull, in all probability.
Only four races are remaining on the F1 calendar, and till now, all the fans have been too focused on the criteria that Max Verstappen needed to fulfil to retain his World Championship and get his second golden trophy as soon as possible. But most of them have overlooked the fact that Red Bull is also on its way of making history by winning its first World Championship title since 2013. And it is possible that the moment will happen in the upcoming United States Grand Prix in Austin if the team manages to tick all the boxes.
Red Bull has got a gap of 165 points between itself and its nearest competitor Ferrari. In the upcoming US Grand Prix, the Red Bull racers need to make sure that all their strategies are in place so that they can carry the Constructors’ Championship home at the end of the race.
It is very much a possibility that they will win the Championship in Austin

Walking into the to the United States Grand Prix, Red Bull has a 165-point advantage over Ferrari, and only 191 points are up from grabs now that four races are left on the roster. This means, Christian Horner‘s team will have to keep a 147-point advantage after the end of the US Grand Prix, if they want to win the World Championship in Austin.
And if Ferrari want to step up their game and delay Red Bull’s winning of the Constructors’ Championship trophy, they need to outscore RB by 19 points at the upcoming Grand Prix. Unfortunately, statistics are heavily on Red Bull’s side as the Ferrari racers have only scored a 1-2 finish with a fastest lap for one of its racers at the season opener this year in Bahrain.
So, there is a big chance that the Red Bull garage will see some massive celebration post the United States GP, but fans will be on the lookout for how Ferrari tries to make the game hard for their opponents.
